Special Announcement
Regarding: The Health of Members, Volunteers, & Guests of the Liberty Forum of Silicon Valley
Please take a moment to read this message to understand changes to the March 10 meeting.
Due to coronavirus concerns in our community, we will change some of our meeting practices to minimize the exposure of attendees to illnesses. The Tuesday March 10 meeting with Trevor Loudon will take place with the following changes:
-
Doors open at 6:30 PM. To minimize socialization and close contact, please refrain from arriving early & congregating outside.
-
No memberships or tickets will be sold on site. You can pick up your badge(s) if you need to.
-
Bottled water will be available, but we won’t have crackers, chips, or cookies.
-
We won’t have exhibitors at this meeting.
-
Spaces between rows of chairs will be bigger. Please spread out in the seating.
Our usual guidelines remain in effect:
-
If you’re sick or think you may be coming down with an illness, stay home.
-
Please bring and wear your badge.
-
We’ll record Trevor Loudon’s presentation and post that to our website for viewing.
We take these measures to avoid close contact between members, volunteers and guests before and during the event. We present outstanding speakers addressing current topics, but we must be prudent in protecting the health of our attendees, especially our seasoned members or any members with underlying medical problems.
The Santa Clara County Public Health Department’s website contains information for protecting persons at higher risk of serious illness.
I thank you for your support, patience, and understanding during this time.
